Add one metal screen to very bottom of smoker basket. This helps eliminate wood chips dropping into your drink.

Add wood chips that came with smoker to the basket. Fill to top of basket, adding more later if needed.

With small kitchen torch of your choice, light the wood chips keeping flame moving side to side. Once burn is achieved, use flame to push smoke downward, through the screen into the glass.
